James M. Gates

James M. Gates unexpectedly passed away on 4/11/2020. Jim had spent the last 24 years serving as a Village Board Trustee.

Jim was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather as well as a friend to many. He was a lifelong resident of Hilton, a community that he loved. Jim worked for the Building and Grounds for the HCSD for 37 years. Jim also served his community for 49 years as a member of the Hilton Fire Department, serving as Chief of the Department from 1987 to 1989.
